Den vita korpen

Vid foten av kullarna ligger en grund grav
i röset ligger en svart pärla

I tidernas början hämtade en vit korp
ostronet vid banken där havet faller

Pärlans skimmer gav korpen sina färgade fjädrar
men förlorade sin egna vita skrud

Nu ligger den svarta pärlan och väntar
väntar på att bli innesluten i ostronets
silkeslena gåta.

Korpen flyger lyckligt omedveten om
att molnen gömmer hennes vackra vita dräkt.

Jag går mellan gravröset och himmelen
väger mina steg på gyllene våg

Havet fortsätter att falla
korpen svävar näst intill osynlig i skyn
pärlan glimrar i samma kulör som graven

Allt är tystnad
jorden fortfarande platt
tiden stillar sig och stannar
Allt är tystnad


The white raven

At the foot of the hills is a shallow grave
in the cairn lies a black pearl

In the beginning of time a white raven fetched
the oyster by the bank where the sea falls

The pearl's shimmer gave the raven its colored feathers
but lost its own white coat

Now the black pearl is waiting
waiting to be enclosed in the oysters
silky enigma.

The raven flies blissfully unaware
that the clouds hides her beautiful white dress.

I walk between the burial mound and the sky
weighing my steps on golden scales

The sea continues to fall
the raven hovers almost invisible in the sky
the pearl glitters in the same color as the grave

All is silence
the earth is still flat
time settles down and stops
All is silence
